THE STOLEN CARS OF AL-QAEDA AND USED CAR SCAM TAMPA TO DUBAI FINANCED TERRORISM.

"SOME VEHICLES SHIPPED TO THE MIDDLE EAST, (SAUDI ARABIA, JORDAN, KUWAIT AND DUBAI) BOTH LEGALLY AND ILLEGALLY, ARE USED TO SUPPORT TERRORISM AND IN SOME CASES ARE USED AS CAR BOMBS IN IRAQ", PER QUOTE OF STEVE EMERSON IN HIS BOOK;  "Jihad Incorporated: A Guide to Militant Islam in the U.S."

Stolen Canadian SUV's Support Terrorism.  "If you can’t find a vehicle, it’s gone to a chop shop or it’s been exported to the Middle East and there’s the link.” “One of the reasons that terrorist organizations are interested in North American cars is they’re larger and can be packed with more explosives. The international organized crime networks hire youths to do the dirty work of stealing vehicles, selling them on the fact the Youth Criminal Justice Act is soft on crime. “The SUV's are big, they’re luxurious and they handle the terrain over there (Iraq).”

Vehicle crime profits can be used to support terrorist organisations says Interpol.
From 24-26 April 2006 in Kenya, of the 107 vehicles identified as stolen by police – based on checks against the SMV database and also training provided during the operation – several had been purchased legally by a minister and members of Parliament in Dubai, which has been cited in recent years as a major transit point for cars stolen from Japan, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the USA.

TALIBAN'S TOYOTA HILUX (TACOMA) PICK-UP TRUCK CALVARY/ BBC NEWS--NY TIMES.......TALIBAN'S TOYOTA HILUX (TACOMA) PICK-UP TRUCK CALVARY, WHERE ARE THEY COMING FROM? The presence of these Toyota vehicles raises questions, given that Afghanistan has been subjected for five years to one of the strictest economic sanctions ever applied by the United Nations and the US Government.

Toyota's unease at being associated with the Taliban and Al Qaeda is evident.
In its September statement, the company said, "Toyota does not have a sales or distribution channel in Afghanistan, and we do not export vehicles to that country." "Any other Toyota products presently in the country have probably arrived from neighboring countries via unofficial channels" - that is, they were smuggled from Dubai or Kuwait to Iran and Pakistan and into Afghanistan. It's all about the cars and trucks, supplied by Muslim car dealers in support of terrorism !

MUSLIM USED CAR DEALERS; "While law enforcement officals have noted the sale of stolen vehicles by organized crime groups for the purpose of financing terrorist organizations, it is important to note that seemingly legitimate auto dealers have been involved in laundering large amounts of cash through the sale of automobiles" ! Quote, Steve Emerson before a US Senate Hearing on Terrorist Money Laundering.

The FBI's counterterrorism unit has launched a broad investigation of US-based car theft rings after discovering some vehicles used in deadly car bombings in Iraq, including attacks that killed US troops and Iraqi civilians, were probably stolen in the United States, according to senior US Government officials. The FBI's deputy assistant director for counterterrorism, Inspector John Lewis, said the investigation did not prove the vehicles were stolen specifically for car bombings in the Middle East, but there was evidence they were smuggled out of the US by organised criminal networks that included terrorists and insurgents, Boston Globe Article-10/02/2005.

MOROCCAN USED CAR DEALER SENDS "CAR BOMBERS" FROM SYRIA INTO IRAQ; The Moroccan blamed by the Baghdad government for a string of deadly car bomb attack in Iraq was a top recruiter of foreign fighters, Muhsen Khayber was/is sending militants across the border from Syria and acting as a liaison with European extremists, said a former associate.

Khayber is still active in Syria sending "car bombers" to Abu Ayyub al-Masri in Iraq. Muhsen Khayber, also known as Abdul Rahim, moved to Syria from Morocco after allegedly being involved in coordinated suicide bombings in Casablanca that killed 32 people, according to an Iraqi government statement, offering an unspecified reward for his arrest.

Khayber traveled to Tangier frequently to meet with Radical Preacher El Fazazi and to listen to his Mosque speeches on Jihad. Apparently under El Fazazi's influence, Khayber organized the Larache branch of the cleric's group "Salafist Jihad" that follows an extremist Islamic doctrine in Tangier were he linked up with Al-Qaeda leader and used car dealer Pierre Robert .
