Aafia Siddiqui aka Saliha Is An Al-Qaeda Terrorist And Deserves 86 years In Prison

FOX NEWS...Pakistan united in outrage at sentencing of neuroscientist Aafia Siddiqui for attacking US agentsISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP) — The country's leaders were quick to show their outrage at the 86 year sentence handed down to a Pakistani woman convicted of attacking U.S. agents, as were opposition politicians. By the time weekly prayers rolled round, protesters were battling police and the Pakistani Taliban had offered its support.

KARACHI: After six years of silence, Dr Muhammad Amjad Khan, ex-husband of Dr Aafia Siddiqui, has finally spoken up and says that most of the press reports that relate to his former wife as well as his children are false. (Aafia Siddiqui is a terrorist and was hiding for 5 years as "Saliha").In an exclusive talk with The News, he said that most claims are being propagated to garner public support and sympathy for Dr Aafia Siddiqui but are one-sided and in most instances untrue.

Dr Aafia Siddiqui, suspected of having links to terrorist organizations, has been charged in a criminal complaint filed in a court of New York on account of attempting to kill US personnel during interrogation and on a charge of assaulting US officers and employees in Kabul, Afghanistan, on July 17, 2008.

Subsequently Dr Aafia Siddiqui was imprisoned in Bagram for 18 days (not 5 years) before being taken to the US for a trial. Due to pressure from Aafia Siddiqui’s family, the Pakistan government has been trying to secure her release from the US claiming her to be innocent. Although the US government has guaranteed Aafia Siddiqui the best legal assistance and a fair trial, her family had been adamant that she be sent back on grounds that the US authorities have been consistently torturing her for years.“Aafia’s release cannot be secured by propagating stories based on falsehood and deception,” commented Dr Amjad Khan, in an interview with The News.

Dr Amjad, who was married to Dr Aafia Siddiqui for seven years until their divorce in October 2002, said Aafia’s family and supporters should not believe that truth will not be revealed and mere lies will help in securing Aafia’s repatriation. He added that he is disappointed with the government’s disregard for the law when officials handed over his eldest son, Ahmad, to his aunt Dr Fowzia Siddiqui on his return from Afghanistan, instead of his legal guardian, his father.

“The government made no effort to locate me despite the fact that I am Ahmad’s real and legal guardian. My address in Karachi has not changed for the past 30 years. Ever since I returned from the US after our divorce, I have been living with my family,” he said adding: “Both the Minister for Interior Rehman Malik and Dr Fowzia Siddiqui have been taking credit for obtaining Ahmad’s release even though there was not a stone I left unturned to locate my missing children and obtain their custody according to law.

“I was aware of Aafia’s violent personality and extremist views and suspected her involvement in Jihadi activities. My fear later proved to be true when during Uzair Paracha’s trial in the US in 2004, the real purpose of Aafia’s trip to the US (between December 23, 2002 and January 3, 2003) was revealed.”

SEE PRIOR POST, Tuesday, August 05, 2008, AAFIA SIDDIQUI MANY LINKS TO US TERROR PLOTS INCLUDES POISONING NYC WATER RESERVOIRS WITH ANTHRAX. Uzair Paracha, 24, son of Saifullah Paracha, went on trial in November 2005, he was convicted of all five counts he faced, he is linked to al-Qaeda terrorist Majid Khan. In the opening argument of Uzair Paracha in November 2005, the Assistant United States Attorney Eric Bruce claimed that MIT graduate Aafia Siddiqui was willing to help with an anthrax attack. Bruce repeatedly referred to a planned chemical attack by Khan but never described the plot or when and where it would occur. Any evidence supporting the dramatic statement was later excluded from evidence on the grounds that it would be unduly prejudicial.

Elaborating, Dr Amjad disclosed that he later learnt from media reports that Aafia’s family claimed she made this trip to the US for job interviews in December at a time when universities were closed for winter holidays.

“I also found it very odd that on the one hand Aafia insisted on leaving the US after September 11, 2001, claiming the country was unsafe for us and our children because the US government was abducting Muslim children, and on the other hand took the risk of travelling to that country again without fearing that she may be captured and may never see our children again.

”While Dr Aafia was in the US, the authorities had been closely watching her, added Amjad. They soon issued the first global “wanted for questioning” alert for the couple in March 2003. “At that time, the agencies did not know we were divorced and I was also unaware of Aafia’s involvement with two other terror suspects, Majid Khan and Ammar Al-Baluchi (the nephew of Khalid Shaikh Mohammad KSM & 9/11.

SEE PRIOR REPORT ON THESE GOONS, Wednesday, September 03, 2008, AAFIA SIDDIQUI HAD PLANS FOR "MASS CASUALTY ATTACK" WITH DIRTY BOMBS IN NEW YORK CITY. Terrorist Majid Khan appears to have met with Aafia Saddiqui who is a MIT grad in microbiology, she had access to Anthrax while working at Brandeis Univ in Boston. Assistant United States Attorney Eric Bruce claimed that MIT graduate Aafia Siddiqui was willing to help with an anthrax attack. Eric Bruce repeatedly referred to a planned chemical attack by Majid Khan but never described the plot or when and where it would occur. He said a woman affiliated with al-Qaida opened a Maryland post office box in the names of herself and Majid Khan so immigration documents could be sent there. Bruce said the woman (Aafia Siddiqui), if asked, would "help carry out a deadly Anthrax attack against the United States." Her whereabouts were unknown at that time.

They wanted me to persuade Aafia Siddiqui to appear for the interview with them and clear the charges leveled against her just as I had done. That is when she went underground and it later became apparent why she chose to ‘disappear’,” disclosed Dr Amjad. Sharing details of his unsuccessful marriage with Dr Aafia Siddiqui, Dr Amjad told The News that since their marriage was arranged, he was unaware of Aafia’s violent behaviour. “She got hysterical fits when she became angry and would physically attack me, but I put up with it for the sake of our children.”

Although Amjad and Aafia Siddiqui both were inclined towards religion, he found her opinion towards Jihad to be of an extreme nature that sometimes made him uncomfortable. He became particularly suspicious of his wife’s intentions when soon after the 9/11 attacks, she compelled Amjad to leave Boston (where Amjad was completing his residency) and move to Afghanistan where she claimed “he would be more useful”.

“I tried my best to save our marriage, but divorce was inevitable,” he recalls. However, after mutual consent, the couple signed a legal agreement whereby the custody of the three minors was given to Aafia Siddiqui, while Amjad was required to pay for their education and maintenance.
Aafia’s mother and Dr Fowzia Siddiqui had warned me at the time of our divorce that they would take revenge by not letting me meet the children,” he said adding “But now they are discouraging a meeting with Ahmad because they fear Ahmad will reveal the truth about Aafia’s activities and whereabouts of his siblings over these years.”

He added that Dr Fowzia Siddiqui had similarly threatened him several years ago by taking a picture of Aafia while she was asleep after she injured her upper lip (by a milk bottle) in an accident (a staged photo).

Dr Fowzia Siddiqui warned Amjad that if he tried to divorce Aafia, she would use the picture against him alleging him to be an abusive husband. “It was made to appear in the picture that Aafia was badly injured. Today, the same picture is being circulated in the media (staged photo) to claim that Aafia Siddiqui was tortured for years in Bagram (a lie),” he revealed.

Later, Aafia’s family accused him of being an abusive husband and father preventing the children from meeting their father. “Aafia’s mother has also accused me in the media of changing the children’s names whereas in reality they had resorted to these tactics to conceal the children.”

He alleged that Dr Fowzia Siddiqui also used the Asian Human Rights Commission, an NGO based in Honk Kong, to mislead the government about his two missing children. “The AHRC received the information about my two missing children being in an orphanage in Afghanistan from Dr Fowzia Siddiqui, who was diverting attention away from the place where the children really are.” claimed Amjad.

Earlier, when Aafia’s father died, the family held Amjad responsible for his death too claiming he suffered a stroke after he saw the divorce document. “That is simply not true because I mailed the document two days after Aafia’s father died and that too because I was unaware of the unfortunate incident. Their family never kept me posted on anything in the six-week period between our verbal and written divorce.

I was just as shocked at his death.”Moreover, the family alleged that Aafia Siddiqui was in trouble and had been kidnapped because her former husband (Dr Amjad) handed over her personal diary to the FBI.   “After this, false reports about Aafia’s arrest and Pakistani government’s involvement in handing her over to the US despite repeated denials by the Minister of Interior and other officials, started making headlines” claims the doctor, who has now re-married.
It is the whereabouts of his two children Marium now aged 10, and six-year-old Suleiman that worries him now, said Amjad. Like the coordinates of Dr Aafia Siddiqui remained a mystery after she was allegedly ‘picked up’ in March 2003, Dr Amjad believes Aafia’s family may be using the same tactics in the case of his two children, who are reportedly ‘missing’.

“I am sure they are around Karachi and in contact with their maternal family as both Aafia Siddiqui and the children were seen around their house here and in Islamabad on multiple occasions since their alleged disappearance in 2003. They may be living under an assumed identity just like Aafia Siddiqui and Ahmed had been living [as Saliha and Ali Ahsan] for five years before they got arrested,” believes the father.
He said Dr Fowzia Siddiqui claim that the children are missing after being removed from the Bagram prison in Afghanistan ‘may be an attempt to attract sympathy of the government and the people and distract its attention from the real location.’

EXCLUSIVE. Reporter Charles Leaf Fox News 5 New York Violent Past Includes a “Willful Physical Attack Against A Councilwoman”.

ARTICLE FROM DENVER WESTWORD NEWS….FOX New 5 New York Reporter Charles Leaf, his photo above, sees a correlation between the five years he spent in the Marine Corps and his current work as an investigative reporter for Fox-owned TV stations, (he started in Denver CO at Fox-owned Channel 31) . “I believe it’s an important calling to serve the public, whether it’s serving your country or your community,” he says.

Photo above of Charles Leaf courtesy of Channel 31, Assistant troubleshooter Charles Leaf says he’s gotten a bad rap.

As these remarks demonstrate, Leaf, who’s in his mid-thirties, sees himself as a crusader. Yet several previous on-the-job incidents raise questions about his aggressive style.

During a stint at a station in Mobile, Alabama CHARLES LEAF was the focus of a 1999 lawsuit that impugned him for a “willful physical attack” against a local councilwoman; the case was eventually settled. Two years later, while working in Detroit, a man told police that Charles Leaf spewed homophobic obscenities and tried to attack him after the reporter was pelted with eggs while covering a story.

And Bobbi Barrow, spokeswoman for Denver Health Medical Center believes Charles Leaf misrepresented himself to get an interview with her boss, Dr. Patricia Gabow, at an event last November. “What he did was unprofessional,” Barrow says.

Charles Leaf denies this last accusation and insists that he did nothing wrong during the Mobile and Detroit episodes. Indeed, he views himself more as victim than victimizer. “If what took place in Mobile hadn’t happened, you wouldn’t be talking to me about someone in Detroit throwing eggs at me,” he says.

Becoming a Marine was “the greatest achievement of my life,” Leaf notes. But he also aspired to become a journalist, and in 1998, a few years after graduating from Syracuse University, he landed at Mobile’s WPMI.

At first, Charles Leaf, got good press but that ended after November 8 1999, when he covered a council meeting in a town where residents were upset by the impending exit of their police chief. As tempers rose, councilmembers gaveled the session to a close and fled the room. Leaf and a cameraman trailed one official, Frela Wojciechowski, to a car waiting to pick her up in the parking lot. The car departed within seconds, but not before Wojciechowski was squashed in the passenger-side door. Her lawsuit, which was pushed after local authorities chose not to press charges against Charles Leaf, stated that she sustained bruises to her arms and legs.

What happened? Leaf says that when Wojciechowski attempted to enter the car, she swung the door out so violently that it bounced off him and back at her. It takes an active imagination to believe such a carom could injure Wojciechowski, since the door hit a person and not a giant SuperBall. But Leaf stresses that he was stationary, neither pushing the door nor walking, running or stumbling against it. He believes videotape shot by his cameraman would have supported his contention if it hadn’t been recorded over before the lawsuit was filed.

Attorney Joseph M. Allen Jr., speaking for Wojciechowski, confirms that he and his client were “very pleased” by the settlement (TV station payed out big bucks because of Charles Leaf), but otherwise stays mum. As for WPMI general manager Sharon Moloney, she wouldn’t address the lawsuit or a December 1998 dispute between Leaf and a station photographer to which police were called. The Mobile Register described the altercation as “physical,” but Leaf says only harsh words were exchanged, and no charges resulted.

When asked if these two occurrences played a role in his departure from WPMI weeks after the lawsuit was filed, Leaf replies, “That’s officially what the company and I have agreed to — that it didn’t have anything to do with it.” He adds that he “didn’t pay a dime” of the settlement, which was reached by WPMI (station payed out big bucks) after Charles Leaf moved on (fired?).

BALDWIN COUNTY COMMISSION AGENDA FEBRUARY 19, 2008, Mobile AL. Re-appoint Ms. Frela Wojciechowski as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Baldwin County Emergency Communication District for a four (4) year term, such term continuing from January 15, 2008, and expiring January 15, 2012.

These experiences didn’t make Charles Leaf unemployable. He went from a Fox station in Kansas City to WJBK, in the larger Detroit market. There he earned an Emmy for a report about child abduction; the recommendation that brought him to Channel 31 last June; and unwanted ink from the Metro Times, a Detroit weekly, related to an October 26, 2001, visit to a run-down building where residents were being evicted in advance of renovation.

As Charles Leaf and his cameraman arrived at the building, Sebastian Graham, the owner of a nearby home business, jeered them; Graham says he felt Fox was unfairly vilifying the landlord, whom he calls a sincere person upgrading a dangerous eyesore. The newsmen conducted some interviews, and as they were getting ready to leave, several young people allegedly unhappy with Fox for an unrelated reason — its coverage of the war in Afghanistan — expressed their displeasure by smashing an egg on Leaf’s head and tossing others at him. When one hurler appeared to enter the back of Graham’s house, Leaf went to the front door because, he says, he wanted to pinpoint the miscreant’s location for police, whom his cameraman had already phoned. As Leaf tells it, Graham opened the door and shouted at him, but he didn’t rise to the bait.

For his part, Graham says that Leaf, accompanied by the cameraman and a source from the building, assumed he had been part of the egging and went off on him: “He called me a ‘faggot,’ and his cameraman hit me. He tried to hit me, too, but he didn’t make contact.” Graham maintains that the trio left only after he reacted to a haymaker from the third man by kicking him in the stomach. Afterward, Graham told cops to check for video of the incident, because the camera’s light was on during the melee, but the TV folks swore nothing had been taped…more from this source.

What I can add to this story about Charles Leaf is that all my dealing with him, that began on August 18th 2010, were totally unprofessional. Chalres Leaf was given exclusive detailed information about Ground Zero Mosque Developer Sahrif El-Gamal from confidential informants in New York City that I had cultivated in the prior weeks. Charles Leaf requested that I do not contact the NY Post or the NY Daily News or the Times and in return he would list me as the source. Charles Leaf never let on as to who was the source of the confidential information, that would be me.

Following is one of many emails (and phone calls) that I received from Fox News 5 New York reporter Charles Leaf prior to his run up to the Sharif El-Gamal “interveiw”.

Wow! Bill, thank you so much. Great stuff. How do I get in touch with the guy who has the video on his laptop? Do you have a number for him?

Thanks so much. Please tell your sources I will do everything in my power to protect them and their identities. In terms of the video, if I could at least see it (not necessarily air it) that would be a big first step. Do you know when this rally took place? The NYPD may have shot the rally and my sources could help dig it up.

I look forward to working with you.Best,
Charles

Ground Zero Mosque Protests Are A Gift To The Terrorists, Taliban Operative Zabihullah Says Thank You Pamela Geller and SIOA Group.

NEWSWEEK....Taliban officials know it’s sacrilegious to hope a mosque will not be built, but that’s exactly what they’re wishing for: the success of the fiery campaign to block the proposed Islamic cultural center and prayer room near the site of the Twin Towers in lower Manhattan. “By preventing this mosque from being built, America is doing us a big favor,” Taliban operative Zabihullah tells NEWSWEEK.  “It’s providing us with more recruits, donations, and popular support.”

America’s enemies in Afghanistan are delighted by the vehement public opposition to the proposed “Ground Zero mosque.” (PAMELA GELLER AND SIOA GROUP PICTURED ABOVE) The backlash against the project has drawn the heaviest e-mail response ever on jihadi Web sites, Zabihullah claims—far bigger even than France’s ban on burqas earlier this year. This time the target is America itself. “We are getting even more messages of support and solidarity on the mosque issue and questions about how to fight back against this outrage.” (Thank You Pamela Geller and SIOA Group.)

Zabihullah also claims that the issue is such a propaganda windfall—so tailor-made to show how “anti-Islamic” America is—that it now heads the list of talking points in Taliban meetings with fighters, villagers, and potential recruits. “We talk about how America tortures with waterboarding, about the cruel confinement of Muslims in wire cages in Guantánamo, about the killing of innocent women and children in air attacks—and now America gives us another gift with its street protests ( Thank You Pamela Geller and SIOA Group) to prevent a mosque from being built in New York,” Zabihullah says. “Showing reality always makes the best propaganda.”

Taliban officials say they’re looking forward to a new wave of terrorist trainees from the West like this year’s Times Square car bomber. “I expect we will soon be receiving more American Muslims like Faisal Shahzad who are looking for help in how to express their rage,” says a Taliban official who was a senior minister when the group ruled Afghanistan and who remains active in the insurgency. The Ground Zero furor will likely add to that anger. “The more mosques you stop, the more jihadis we will get,” Zabihullah predicts. MORE FROM THIS SOURCE.........

Pentagon: Gen. David Petraeus Warns Against Church's Koran Burning, Dove World Outreach Center Supports Ground Zero Mosque Activist Pamela Geller.

A Florida church's plan to burn Korans on Sept. 11 isn't doing the troops in Afghanistan any favors, Gen. David Petraeus said Monday.  Hundreds of Afghans protested Monday in Kabul over the decision by the Gainesville, Fla.-based Dove World Outreach Center, run by Pastor Terry Jones,  to burn copies of what Muslims consider the word of God. Petraeus said he's concerned that the protests could spread across the country.

"It could endanger troops and it could endanger the overall effort in Afghanistan. It is precisely the kind of action the Taliban uses and could cause significant problems. Not just here, but everywhere in the world we are engaged with the Islamic community," Petraeus said in a statement provided to Fox News.

The U.S. Embassy in Kabul issued a statement condemning the church's plans, saying Washington was "deeply concerned about deliberate attempts to offend members of religious or ethnic groups." But outside the U.S. Embassy, where as many as 500 protestors chanted "Long live Islam" and "Death to America," demonstrators argued that the church isn't acting of its own will.

"We know this is not just the decision of a church. It is the decision of the president and the entire United States," said Abdul Shakoor, an 18-year-old high school student who said he joined the protest after hearing neighborhood gossip about the Koran burning. Burning a Koran is considered by Muslims among the most offensive actions taken against Islam., more from this source.................

Major pro-Israel giver, Joyce Chernick, funds Robert Spencer's ‘Jihad Watch’ and Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs

The Jerusalem Post; Major pro-Israel giver funds ‘Jihad Watch’ By JTA 09/05/2010 09:36.  Group opposing Ground Zero mosque is organizing rally on the 9th anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks.

WASHINGTON - A woman who with her husband has contributed large sums to pro-Israel and Jewish groups is the principal funder of the group that has taken the lead in opposing an Islamic center in lower Manhattan.

Jihad Watch, the group that is organizing a rally against the planned Islamic center timed for the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11 2001 attacks - the center is planned for within three blocks of the site of the attacks - is funded by Freedom Center, a conservative group based in Los Angeles run by radical David Horowitz.

An investigative report appearing on the online version of Politico on Saturday says that it has confirmed that the "lion's share" of the $920,000 funneled through Freedom Center to Jihad Watch over the last three years originated with Joyce Chernick.

Aubrey and Joyce Chernick, Politico reported, have over the years contributed to, among other groups, the Jewish Federation Council of Greater Los Angeles; the Anti-Defamation League; the Zionist Organization of America; MEMRI, a group that distributes translations of inflammatory Arabic language material; the Investigative Project on Terrorism (Steve Emerson), a group that tracks what it depicts as the threat of radical Islam; the American Jewish Congress; CAMERA, a group that tracks what it says is anti-Israel bias in the media; the Central Fund for Israel, a clearinghouse for moneys directed to pro-settler groups; and a number of conservative think tanks.

Aubrey Chernick, additionally, was at one time a trustee of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. A number of these groups, including the Investigative Project, the ADL and the ZOA, have positioned themselves as opposed to the Islamic center. Other Jewish groups, led by the Reform movement, have been outspoken in supporting the center.

Jihad Watch, founded by Robert Spencer, has in recent months taken on board Pamela Geller, the New York-based blogger of Atlas Shrugs, who launched efforts to stop the center's building.

Jihad Watch leads those groups that contend that the Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, who founded the Cordoba Initiative -- the organization behind the planned center -- is not, as he and a number of Jewish backers claim, a moderate attempting to bridge divides, but is instead a radical.

The Islamic center's opponents, led by Jihad Watch, have demanded an accounting of the proposed center's donors, although Rauf has of yet barely raised funds for the center.
