P.I. “Bo” Dietl And Team Of Private Investigators Hired By Lauren Spierer's Family To Find Her, Look Hard At The Late Night Waffle House Crowd.

The Spierer family has hired a private investigative team to find information about the disappearance of their daughter, missing IU student Lauren Spierer, the lead private investigator said Friday.

Richard Alfredo “Bo” Dietl appeared on “Good Day New York” on Friday to talk about the case. In the interview, he criticized Bloomington Police Department Chief of Police Michael Diekhoff and what he described as the pervasive drug culture among IU students.

Dietl compared college students to zombies in the film “Night of the Living Dead,” adding that pill usage is rampant at universities.   “The drug usage on this college campus has a direct effect, I believe, to her being missing at this time,” Dietl said in the interview. Dietl, a retired New York City police officer, said he and a team of other retired New York police officers have been involved in the case “for some time now.”

His team includes four private investigators whom Bo Dietl said are currently in Bloomington investigating the case.  “They’ve uncovered stuff that really is giving us a direction on this case,” he said. “We have a lot of information.”

Dietl said the Bloomington Police Department seems to be overmatched with the Lauren Spierer case.  He did not have kind words to say about BPD Chief of Police Diekhoff, whom he referred to as “Gomer Pyle,” a character from “The Andy Griffith Show.” MORE FROM THIS SOURCE...

I have said from the start of the Lauren Spierer missing person case that there was some connection to her vanishing and the nearby Waffle House where known sex offenders were working and their pals would hang out in the early morning hours.

Ex-Con Sex Offender Walks Same Route Every Day on 11th Street Turning Onto College Ave to Waffle House As Did Missing IU Student Lauren Spierer On June 3rd. There are never any coincidences in a young female missing person cases when an ex-con sex offender is found to be living and working within 500 feet of the victim.

John Chitwood served two stints in the Indiana State Prison System for molesting children he will be a registered sex offender until the year 2062 or until he dies. John Chitwood lives at 1005 N Rogers St Bloomington IN, he works at the Waffle House at 530 N. College Ave Bloomington IN, this is less than 1/2 mile away from his apartment, it is walking distance that takes him near Lauren Spierer.

John Chitwood appears to walk to or drive to the the nearby Waffle House by going down Rogers St turning left onto 11th Street then turning onto N. College Ave to his place of work at the Waffle House at 530 N. College Ave, a 9 min walk.

Lauren Spierer, her photo above, was last seen walking down 11th Street and turning onto N. College Ave in the general direction of the Waffle House, this was at about 4:30 am on June 3rd, John Chitwood walks or drives this route almost every day of the week, as his place of employment, the Waffle House is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Let’s get real here, Lauren Spierer is very, very young looking, she is 20 years old with blond hair and blue eyes, but at 4′ 11″ tall and 98 lbs she looks like a 13 year old or even younger and fits the profile of a target for a sex offender who just might be working in the the neighborhood.  Lauren Spierer was living at the SMALLWODD PLAZA APARTMENTS 455 N. COLLEGE AVE, Bloomington IN 47404, there are two troubled ex-con sex offenders working just across the street at the Waffle House 530 N COLLEGE AVE.
