Sen. Marco Rubio and Governor Rick Scott Cancel Speaking Event At Tea Party Convention In Daytona Fl Because of Extremist Pamela Geller, Geller is Bad for Business.

YAHOO NEWS RELEASE...To: NATIONAL EDITORS;
MIAMI, Oct. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Florida chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-FL) today thanked Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Governor Rick Scott for declining to speak at next week's Florida Tea Party convention, which features a presentation by anti-Islam extremist Pamela Geller (HER PHOTO ABOVE WITH THE RIFLE) and another Islamophobe.

Rubio and Scott are listed as "confirmed speakers" at the convention, but representatives of their respective offices told CAIR-FL that the event is not on the senator's nor the governor's official schedule.

THE FLORIDA INDEPENDENT...Next week’s Florida Tea Party convention is slated to feature some big names in Florida politics, as well as the opportunity for state tea party members to discuss some of their favorite topics — including Agenda 21 and Islam.

According to the current convention agenda, speakers will include Gov. Rick Scott, former Christian Coalition director Ralph Reed, and anti-Islam blogger Pam Geller and Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. Update: Rubio’s office tells the Independent the senator will in fact not be attending the event.

Attorney General Pat Bondi was mulling over an appearance, but her name does not appear on the updated convention agenda. In September, Scott’s office told the Independent his appearance had not been confirmed.  Anti-Islam blogger Pam Geller is also on the agenda for next week. Geller is best known for her blog Atlas Shrugs, described by The New York Times as a “site that attacks Islam with a rhetoric venomous enough that PayPal at one point branded it a hate site.”

You know the problems, now lets talk about solutions! If not us, who?

Mark your calendars for the Florida Tea Party Convention at Daytona Beach on November 4-6, 2011. Join many of us from the Palm Beach County Tea Party as we travel to Daytona for an exciting three days of speakers and events that will motivate us to work hard for success in 2012.

Here are the highlights:
■More than two dozen featured speakers including Gov. Rick Scott, Senator Marco Rubio, and Congressman Allen West (Rick Scott and Rubio cancelled because radical extremist Pamela Geller is also to speak)
■Several presidential and senatorial debaters

■Entertainers including Lloyd Marcus

Gov. Rick Scott and Senator Marco Rubio will not speak at the Daytona Beach Tea party convention because of extremist Pamela Geller, just another example of the downward spiral of the anti-Muslim groups of Pamela Geller, SIOA and Robert Spencer.

Extremist Pamela Geller is bad for business, bring her in to your event and the host hotel and any speaker of importance will cancel.
