Smart Lips Productions Introduces its’ new film documentary
The Price of Honor set to release in March 2014
Hollywood, CA – May 7, 2013 - Smart Lips Productions is in its’ final stages of making their new film documentary, The Price of Honor set to release in March 2014. The Price of Honor reveals details never before seen or heard about the murders of Sarah and Amina Said, two teenage sisters from Texas who were killed in a premeditated “Honor Killing” planned and executed by their father Yaser Said back in 2008, who is still at large and remains on the FBI Most Wanted list. The producers of the film just came back from a week-long trip to Texas filming, interviewing the girl’s family and friends and investing the case even further.

Through their research these producers have found many details about the case never revealed by the media, including a secret daughter Yaser Said had during the time he was married to Patricia, the girls’ mother and the fact that he murdered someone else in the past and was able to cover it up with the help of his family. The team has been working diligently with private detectives and together has come across new leads on Yaser Said and his whereabouts. In fact the team was so close that they were threatened to death during their time in Texas.

Smart Lips has now taken the first necessary steps to gain the funds and supporters it needs to finish this film by starting an Indiegogo campaign. With this financial backing and support Smart Lips will be able to keep the investigation on Yaser Said alive and get one step closer to catching him. For more information about this film and its’ findings please contact the producers and visit the official website and campaign pages:
Official website:
An "Honor Killing" is the act in which a family member is murdered by another member in efforts to defend the family honor. "Honor killings" are popular in many cultures and directed mostly against women and girls, but have also been extended to men. An estimated 20,000 people are victims of this practice every year.

The efforts of this film will bring awareness to the fact that “Honor Killings” are now spreading to the United States and producers are hoping it will help put a stop to these heinous crimes and bring justice to these two girls and anyone else who has ever been affected by an “Honor Killing.”

Following the path of the award winning film Freedomless, about global domestic abuse, The Price of Honor will set up a fundraiser event and in this occasion Smart Lips is creating a photography campaign against “Honor Killings”. Proceeds will go towards the investigation, finishing of the film and to create a fund that will help increase the award amount that the FBI is offering to catch Yaser Said, which is currently $14,000.

Smart Lips’ previous projects have broadened social awareness and provided a deeper understanding of communities that are often marginalized by the mainstream media. Smart Lips strives to create intimate films that leave viewers with a renewed sense of self, an increased awareness of important issues, and most of all, seek to inspire them to take action.

Are the FBI and the NYPD actively searching for this murdering, pedophile Yaser Said?  The NYPD does not have a wanted poster or any information about Yaser Said ontheir website even though one cab driver told INSIDE EDITION’s Lisa Guerrero he may have seen Yaser Said driving a cab at Newark Airport.
The FBI website indicates that Yaser Said has relatives in the Metro New York City area and that he may be hiding there; “Yaser Abdel Said is wanted for murder. On January 1, 2008, Said took his two teenaged daughters for a ride in his taxi cab, under the guise of taking them to get something to eat. He drove them to Irving, Texas, where he allegedly shot both girls to death. They died of multiple gunshot wounds. Said has ties to New York, Texas, and Egypt.  Said may have fled to New York or Egypt.”
FOX NEWS NEW YORK…..Yaser Said Honor Killer. On its wanted poster, the FBI describes the 6-foot-2, 180-pound Said as wearing a mustache and dark sunglasses, both indoors and outside. He frequents Denny’s and I-Hop restaurants and smokes Marlboro Light 100 cigarettes. He is believed to be either 50 or 55 years old, according to the FBI. “Additionally, Said is known to carry a handgun in his taxi cab at all times,” the poster warns. “It has also been reported that Said always carries a weapon with him, to include knives.”
Yaser Said’s brother, Yassein Said, lives just north of the city in Westchester County and the FBI notes Yaser Said’s ties to the area on his wanted poster, saying he “may have fled to New York or Egypt.” Warner, who is based in Sarasota, Fla., believes the money Said took would not have been enough to flee to his native Egypt and set up a new life.  “He was not financially solvent,” the investigator said, “He did not own the cab he drove. He didn’t have the financial strength to leave.” “The brothers are really tight, so it’s likely they assisted him in some way,” Warner also said, citing that a few years ago he located a post office box in Westchester County under the names of Yaser Said and his brother.
New York’s Taxi and Limousine Commission, which regulates yellow cabs as well as livery cars, requires criminal background checks conducted by the state for anyone applying for a license, according to a commission spokesman. But Said could easily rent a licensed car under the table or simply use his own vehicle to pick up fares illicitly, according to Fernando Mateo, president of the New York State Foundation of Taxi Drivers.
