FOX NEWS: The Khorasan terror group takes its name from a Middle Eastern region that jihadists believe will be host to a final war that brings about the appearance of the Mahdi, the messianic “End Times” figure of Islam.” The U.S.-led coalition airstrikes in Syria put a spotlight on the shady terrorist group known as Khorasan, a small but potent Al Qaeda offshoot whose sole objective is pulling off another 9/11 terror attack.
The 50 or so fighters hardened from battle in Afghanistan and Pakistan were dispatched to Syria by Al Qaeda leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri not to topple Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad or help the Islamic State establish a caliphate, but to recruit foreign fighters and send them home to kill. With thousands of fighters from Europe and the U.S. drawn to Syria’s bloody civil war, Khorasan’s recruiters have a surplus of passport-ready jihadists to choose from. Khorasan’s leader is Muhsin al-Fadhli, a Kuwaiti well-versed in launching attacks on the Western world. Previous reports have emphasized Al Fadhli’s expertise and obsession with executing terror attacks in Western countries, targeting trains and airplanes in particular.
An official said the group posed an “imminent” threat. Another U.S. official later said the threat was not imminent in the sense that there were no known targets or attacks expected in the next few weeks. The plots were believed to be in an advanced stage, the second U.S. official said. There were indications that the militants had obtained materials and were working on new improvised explosive devices that would be hard to detect, including common hand-held electronic devices and airplane carry-on items such as toiletries. The intelligence community discovered Khorasan plots against the United States within the past week, an intelligence source with knowledge of the matter told CNN. The intelligence source did not give an intended target but said the plots involved a bomb made of a nonmetallic detonator, toothpaste and clothes dipped in explosive material.
I Witnessed ‘Dry Run’ on US Airways Flight 2095 By Two Saudi Guys Who looked Like Shoe-bomb Maker Ibrahim Hassaon al-Asiri See Photos. On September 9th 2013 I was on US Airways Flight 2095 out of Newark NJ (United Airlines Flight 93 was a 9/11 hijacked plane out of Newark NJ by Muslim terrorists). I was in seat 6B, seated directly in front of me were two Saudi males, they were about 22 years old and 26 years old, the one seated to my left spent the whole time of the flight, about 1 hour and 15 minutes, making diagrams of the cabin, making note of where the drink cart was kept and notes on the activity of the flight attendants. The flight attendants (all women) appeared to be alerted about the two Arab males and kept close tabs on them.
The Two Saudi males on US Airways Flight 2095 spoke no English during the flight, they both had on NY Yankee baseball caps and wore black t-shirts and jeans and the older Arab male made frequent trips to the bathroom, they were both short in height at about 5′ 6″ tall and 150 lbs, they both had short cut black hair, long sideburns, slight mustaches and goatees just like Ibrahim Hassaon al-Asiri, his photo above. I watched these two Saudi guys intently as we took off and landed. Upon arrival in Charlotte the Two Saudi males made a quick departure and I followed then as they headed for their connecting flight which appeared to be to Fort Lauderdale Fl, they both had large backpacks as a carry-on.
The two Saudi guys were seated directly in front of me on this flight were doing surveillance, I know this for a fact as that is what I have done for the last 19 years as a licensed private investigator. The younger Saudi male did not speak or understand English, the older Saudi guy had to explain everything in Arabic, these Saudi guys on US Airways Flight 2095 out of Newark NJ were not Yankee baseball fans they were posers this is the same thing Mohamed Atta and hs 9/11 crew did.
