Oh, the shark, babe, has such teeth, dear
And it shows them pearly white
Just a 9 mm has old Alex Kompothecras, babe
And he keeps it, ah, out of sight
Ya know when that shark bites with his teeth, babe
Scarlet billows start to spread
Fancy gloves, oh, wears old Alex Kompothecras, babe
So there's never, never a trace of red
Now on the sidewalk, huh, huh, whoo sunny morning, un huh
Lies a body just oozin' life, eek
And someone's sneakin' 'round the corner
Could that someone be Alex Kompothecras?
There's a tugboat, huh, huh, down by the river don't cha know
Where a cement bag's just a 'drooppin' on down
Oh, that cement is for, just for the weight, dear
Five'll get ya ten old Alex Kompothecras back in town
Now d'ja hear 'bout Louie Miller? He disappeared, babe
After drawin' out all his hard-earned cash
And now MacHeath spends just like a sailor
Could it be our boy's Alex Kompothecras done somethin' rash?
Video Surfaces of MTV 'Siesta Key' Star Alex Kompothecras Shooting Shark Off Side Of Boat & 'Siesta Key' Ratings Fall Flat With 674,000 Viewers Given All the Publicity. NY POST BRANDENTON, Fla. — Florida wildlife officials are investigating a video that appears to show an MTV reality star shooting a hammerhead shark off the side of a boat with a 9 mm pistol. The Bradenton Herald reports the video has been widely shared on social media and comes close on the heels of a separate viral video showing a shark being dragged.
The newspaper says the man shooting the shark appears to be Alex Kompothecras of MTV’s “Siesta Key.” He was pictured previously wearing the same red “Make America Great Again” hat and clothes while posing with a dead hammerhead on the network’s Facebook page. Kompothecras apologized and deleted a video of a shark being shot from his social media accounts, telling People magazine he “would not make those decisions again.” It’s illegal to shoot sharks in Florida waters.
Alex Kompothecras allegedly deleted a photo from his Instagram account posing with a dead hammerhead, see photo above, and wearing clothes similar to the man in the shooting video. "It's just wanton killing," said animal activist Russ Rector. He says he got the video from someone who filed a complaint with state investigators. Rector says many of the same men were responsible for dragging a blacktip shark from their boat, while laughing. He insists they also poured beer into the gills of a hammerhead, and that more unsettling videos are coming. "There's so much alcohol involved," Rector said. "You're gonna see the other people and Alex shooting at other fish on the line."
